StatementIn the Maeda Lab, researchers with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities work together. We are committed to cultivating a supportive environment where everyone is welcomed unconditionally. We recognize the history of racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and white supremacy intrinsic to our society, including in academia. Science only works when an antiracist and inclusive environment exists. By respecting and bringing together each person's strengths and diverse ideas, we continuously foster a work environment that facilitates a robust approach to answer innovative questions and provide creative solutions for our society.
