Joining the Maeda Team We are looking for a new lab member who is interested in conducting research to harness the power of plant metabolism for achieving sustainable future, in a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment. We are currently looking for new postdocs in the area of evolutionary biochemistry and plant synthetic biology. See the new position advertisement! As an Undergraduate Student: If you are interested in getting involved in research in the area of plant biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics, please read the overall goal and scope of our research and contact me with your CV and a description why you are interested in joining our lab. As a Graduate student: We are looking for a highly motivated student, who are interested in evolutionary biochemistry and plant synthetic biology for harnessing natural enzyme variants and redesigning plant metabolism for building sustainable society. I am affiliated with two graduate programs at UW-Madison: Botany Graduate Program and Cell and Molecular Biology Program.
